Alone In The Night

This film was my SCAD senior capstone production created over the course of 3 months. As lead lighter I oversaw art direction, render wrangling, and guiding others in the principles of lighting a scene. This production was a great challenge as the film consisted of 2 sequences, one being traditional 3D and the other utilizing a 2D and 3D rendering software called MNPRX with the help of the director. The inspiration of the look development of the film is based on the streets of nighttime Kyoto, Japan while the story features themes of abuse and uncertainty. My goal was to emphasize this to the audience using shadow and high contrast.
